Google Drive mini-course
Recently, our organization has given us a checklist for tracking 21st Century technology skills for each of our students. For some of us, this is a little scary because maybe technology doesn't feel very friendly.
Google Drive is an exciting new tool from Google that uses the cloud to store files. Google Drive is very user friendly, and you'll find it is very similar to Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. There are many exciting uses for Google Drive, but I don't think there has ever been a better tool for collaboration.
In this course, you will learn some basics to help your students collaborate with you and with each other more easily.
Before we begin
For this course you will need:
- A computer with internet access.
- A Gmail account - You will need: Sign up for a Google/Gmail account here if you don’t have one. . In order to sign up for a Google account, you will be asked for information such as name, birthdate, and a back-up email in case you lose your password.
