👩🏽‍🏫 Learning the principles of andragogy was so helpful. Often when I need to communicate with parents I find myself frozen with indecision on how to proceed. With andragogy in mind, now I can approach parent/teacher communication in the same way I approach lesson planning. I have a clear objective and I know how to best reach my audience. Preparing parent/teacher communications will be quick and effective for me going forward. I guess this course lived up to it's name!

👩🏾‍💼 The cheat sheet is great! I laminated mine and taped it to my desk. It will be a great tool for my practice. I am excited to build better relationships with the parents in my classroom and utilize their experience!

👨🏼‍💼 I spend so much time creating lessons and learning experiences for my students, but do not often think of their home life. Understanding the importance of that connection was big for me. Also, the realization that parents do not want information they don't need. Keeping that in mind will help me communicate more clearly.
