Unit Overview:

Are you familiar with the 16 Habits of Mind? In this unit, you will become familiar with the 16 Habits of Mind as a tool to increase student self-reflection and intrinsic motivation.



Learning Outcomes:

1. At the end of the unit, the learner will be able to reason why research suggests the implementation of the 16 Habits of Mind.

2. At the end of the unit, the learner will be able to describe activities that can be used in the classroom to support the implementation of the 16 Habits of Mind.



Assignment #1: Why use the 16 Habits of Mind?:

Select 2 of the following resources to read or view. Consider the following questions:
