By the end of this mini-course you will be able to will be able to:

  • Identify potential barriers to students learning mathematics and common difficulties encountered by students.
  • Select strategies to minimize those barriers.
  • Select and apply appropriate motivational strategies.

Before beginning lesson one try to think through barriers that students encounter frequently and what examples of this you have seen in students.
