Introduction
This course introduces you to Google Drive and how you can use it to improve productivity. You will be able to learn the following in this tutorial.
- What is Google Drive?
- Why you should use Google Drive?
- What are the types of files you can create in Google Drive?
- How you will upload and sync files in Google Drive?
- What are the best ways to manage your files on Google Drive?
- Ways to share files on Google drive
- Collaborate with others on Google Drive files
The main goal of this course is that you choose to use Google Drive in your daily activity as a tool to improve productivity. In each unit of the mini course you will see the objectives, the learning content will be presented you as video, illustration or text. You can scroll to skip content that you are already familiar with. Each unit concludes with a Check Your Understanding section, where you will type answers to questions presented to you. The navigation links to the four units are available on the top of each unit as well as the footer area of the webpage in each unit. You will also find a link to return back to this wiki on all pages of the mini course. You can also use the Back button of your browser to go back to a page you were working on.
Unit 1:Getting Started with Google Drive
Unit Objectives:
- Learners will be able to identify at least two ways in which Google drive is useful to them.
- Learners will also learn the different types of files they can create in Drive.
- Learners will be able to sign up for a Google account if they do not have a Google account.
- Learners will able to identify the main sections of the Google Drive interface.

Unit 2: Upload and Store Files
Unit Objectives:
- Learners will be able to upload files to Drive from their computer.
- Learners will be able to open files and work on them.
- Learners will be able to download files from Drive to their computer.
- Learners will be able to delete files they are not working on and restore files from Trash if they accidentally deleted the files.

Unit 3: Organize and Search Files
Unit Objectives:
- Learners will be able to create folders and move files into folders on the Drive.
- Learners will be able to search for files and folders on Drive.
- Learners will be able to sort, star files in Drive.

- Learners will be able to Share files, set access levels and visibility.
- Learners will be able to view Drive activity.
- Learners will be able to collaborate with others to work together on the same file.
