Educational Background

I received my Bachelors Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Music Education from the College of Saint Rose in 2008. I am currently in my second semester of the ETAP/CDIT program here at SUNY Albany. I also have an Associates Degree in Music from Onondaga Community College.

Teaching Experience

Since 2010-2011 school year, I have been working in the Waterloo Central School District as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a 11th grade student who has Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsay. I am currently the 2016 Class Advisor, Cross Country and Track Assistant Coach, and the Music Director for the Spring Production. During the 2009-2010 school year, I was a long-term music substitute in Waterloo. I taught General Music, Vocal and Instrumental Lessons, and the 6th Grade Chorus.

Personal Background

Outside of teaching, coaching and directing, I can usually be found with my camera in my hand. I enjoy photography, and have been asked to shoot senior pictures, engagement and wedding photos. I also like to travel. In the summer of 2010, my sister (Jenn) and I backpacked around Europe. We visited 8 cities in 23 days (London, Paris, Berlin, Prague, Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre and Rome). It was a trip of a lifetime, and I hope to have a similar experience in the near future. I can also be found driving or working in the back of an ambulance as I am also an NYS Emergency Medical Technician.
