Final Project

Using the resources above as well as those provided in previous units, develop an RTI model for one grade level in your content area. This can be represented as a flow chart or in an essay format. Be sure to answer the following questions as you develop your model.

  1. Who would be part of the RTI process?
  2. What learning and behavioral deficits might you look for in students?
  3. What data might you collect from students and how will it be used?
  4. What might Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 interventions look like?
  5. What expectations will be expected from students in each tier of intervention?
  6. What type of assessments or learning programs could be used during the RTI process?
  7. What would an appropriate timeline be for students in each intervention tier?
  8. How will you know if students have achieved success and are ready to exit RTI?
