Setting up an Gmail and Google Account

A Google Account is a user account that is required to use Google online services such as Gmail, Youtube, Google Drive, and Google calendar. You can use the same login and password to access all of Google's services once you have signed up.

Google Classroom Tutorial

Key Collaborative features of Google Classroom:

  • Add content to assignments, such as video, PDFs, Google Docs or Google Forms survey
  • Share videos, links or images from other websites with students
  • View assignments, announcements and other resources on a class resource page
  • Draft assignments or announcements and schedule them to post on a later date
  • Set permissions on whether students can make posts or comments (or mute individual students)
  • Set permissions on which teachers can create and manage classrooms

Google Collaborative Tools

Google Drive
Google Drive is Google's cloud storage that enables you to store and synchronize your files for easy backup and accessibility. The free account comes with 15 GB of cloud storage.

Google Slides

Google Slides is an online presentation app that lets you create and format presentations and work with other people.

Google Sheets is a free, web-based spreadsheet program offered by Google as part of its complete office suite.
