Instructor comments on your objectives and ICM -- Jianwei Zhang (talk) 14:50, 16 April 2013 (EDT)

I'm pleased to see your efficient work on this new topic: Character education. The outcomes, objectives look clear. The task analysis and ICM will inform and guide your whole mini-course productively. Two suggestions:

- Take a critical look at the activities you planned for each unit to make sure the activities address/align with the objectives. For example, your unit 2's objective is about principles of character education, but your activities focus on "Reflection: What is good character? What do you think about the importance of Character Education?"

- Refine some of the objectives: Your last unit's objective can be more specific: "Learners will be able propose their scheme to implement children literature to access character education."

Hi Shihhan,

Overall, I think you did great job on your portfolio. I can see that there are a lot of useful information and you put the clear ideas and the purposes on each section. I think this 'moral education' topic can be used in all grade levels. In particular, you recommended the books for moral education, which is a good idea. The one thing I wonder if there should be an assessment or evaluation section. How can you evaluate the learning outcomes? Maybe writing a short essay about the books can be used as a assessment item. Or reading a story about the moral issue and writing their opinion can be also another way.
