Introduction to Social Networking in the Classroom
This course is an introduction to Social Networking inside and outside of the classroom. You will learn the reasons why Facebook/Twitter should be brought into the classroom as well as ways to use them. By the end of the course you will be creating activities to use inside and out of the classroom.
The Following Objectives will be met, when the course is finished.
- Instructors will be able to demonstrate and understanding of social networking pages (Facebook/Twitter)
- Instructors will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how the social networking pages can cause collaborative learning inside and outside the classroom.
- Instructors will be able to develop in- class activities which can be completed using the social networking pages
- Instructors will be able to develop out of class activities which can be completed using the social networking pages

Unit Two: Social Networking IN the classroom
Reasons why Social Networking should be in classroom. How to use them.
Unit Three: Social Networking Out of the classroom
How to extend Social Networking outside of the classroom.
Unit Four: Activities for In or Out of the classroom
Apply what you learned, develop activities using Social Networking for inside or outside of the classroom.
