Fostering Environmental Stewardship in Elementary Students
Welcome to Fostering Environmental Stewardship in Elementary Students
In this three unit course you will explore some research based methods of developing a sense of environmental stewardship in elementary and middle school students.
Within each unit, you will have 3 activities to complete:
1. Readings, videos and other resources
2. Group Discussion
3. Lesson Plans
The assigned readings will inspire you to try some environmentally friendly activities with your students. The discussions will allow you to deepen your understanding and the lesson plans will hopefully become tools for you to use in your science or general education classroom.
