My name is Lydia Ashley and I am working toward my 6th year as a New York State Trooper. I am a transplant living here in Albany, as I am originally from Syracuse. I graduated from Columbia College in 2005 with a BA in Business Management, and started a graduate program in Adult Education before entering the State Police Academy. I've always wanted to finish my degree. This is my first class in the CDIT program. Before becoming a State Trooper, I was a Corporate Trainer for 8 years. I look forward to someday mixing my two backgrounds together and utilizing both.
