My name is Julie Bensley. I teach high school math in a rural community in New York state. Teaching mathematics is my passion. My undergraduate work was completed in 1996 at Anderson University. I taught for nearly 9 years in Indianapolis, Indiana. When my first child was born, I left teaching to be a stay-at-home mom. During that time, we moved to New York. I am happy to have returned to teaching mathematics full-time. I am also a wife and mother. I spend my evenings balancing graduate work, sports schedules, scouting events, and dance lessons. In our time away from school, our family enjoys camping and traveling.
