UNIT III-- USING DIGITAL STORIES IN THE CLASSROOM
Introduction
In the first two units we learned what digital storytelling is and how to navigate digital storytelling software. Since we now know the basics, we can begin to discuss how digital storytelling can be used across the curriculum. In this unit we will explore and develop ways to incorporate this technology into the classroom, as well as learn how to facilitate its use with students. Hopefully by participating in this unit, you will gain the skills necessary to create digital storytelling experiences that are motivating and engaging for students.
Objectives
By the end of this unit you should be able to:
- Create a list of ways that digital storytelling could be used with students in each subject area for your grade level.
- Demonstrate the ability to use digital stories with students through the creation of a digital story and lesson plan.
