Welcome to this mini-course on Teacher Presence and creating a screencast/video with Screencast-O-Matic.
This mini-course was designed with educators that have always wanted to include a screencast/video with their course, but have been apprehensive for one reason or another. Perhaps you don't consider yourself a techie person or maybe you are apprehensive in having too much of a presence in your course. This mini-course is for you. It will give you some insight on teacher presence and will guide you in creating a screen cast that you can include in your course.

- A Computer (PC/Mac)
- Internet Connection (High Speed Preferred)
- Microphone (Headset Mic Preferred)
Objectives of this Course
At the conclusion of the Mini-Course, learners will be able to:
- Describe teacher presence and its importance in online learning
- Register and discover the features of the Screencast-O-Matic online recording tool (http://screencast-o-matic.com/)
- Create a video/screencast using Screencast-O-Matic

- Archive the screencast or save the video
