I like a lot your course design, particularly the activity flow.

One suggestion is that after the learners watch the video, before they read the articles, you may add a brief paragraph summarizing what social networking is. As well, you may provide a brief intro to each of the two articles to highlight the key information and background the reading activity. The first reading is a research paper, so particularly needs backgrounding and scaffolding.

As well, you may want to change the order of these two readings as the second one seems to be more accessible.
