Talk:Searching For and Evaluating Web Resources
feedback! -- Josiah Boehlke (talk) 22:31, 20 November 2013 (EST)
Ashley,
Firstly, I really like your idea a lot for a mini-course! With students increasingly finding information online, your topic of searching for information and evaluating the information they found is a needed skill. Your introduction with guided questions, intent of course and topics to be addressed set a clear focus for the course. Also, I really like your performance objectives and feel they give the reader a clear focus for what they should focus on and expect to learn from your mini-course.
Looking into your lesson 1, I also found it well done. You have good uses for links and integrated technology. At this point, I could not think of much I would add/change, but I did like the idea Rebecca posted about creating a scavenger hunt or some type of fun activity. The more hands on applications, the better teachers will take practical ideas with them.
Again, great job! you have a really nice min-course so far!
Josiah
