Talk:Positive Discipline in the Classroom

Instructor comments on your mini-course -- Jz833665 (talk) 13:08, 4 May 2015 (EDT)

Cheryl-

Your mini-course is very well organized addressing clearly defined objectives. Your unit 1 is solid and effective, providing carefully selected readings. You may consider possible ways to make your mini-course even more engaging, such as by adding an inviting intro to this topic that highlights teachers' struggles with classroom management, or summarizes problems with less positive discipline strategies. In your unit 1, you have examples/non examples after long readings. You may consider moving the analysis of example/non example earlier near the beginning of this unit, so the learner will analyze cases first, read, then reflect on the cases.

Great work!

Cheryl, I enjoyed looking at your mini-course and what you have so far. I think you are doing an awesome job so far! I think your objectives and task analysis looks great! You have clear set goals, objectives, and learning outcomes. I loved how you set up your supportive prerequisites and curriculum map. I see that you are going to include a quiz in unit one but what other interactive things are you putting in if any? I think it is great you are including an example and non example of positive behavior. Can't wait to see what it will be. I think you have done an awesome job so far. Keep up the good work! Caileigh
