Course Overview
This mini-course will consist of the integration of simulators and simulations into a lesson.
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the human body
- Must have an understanding of medical terminology
- Must be able to perform the psychomotor skills that will be expected of the students.
- Knowledge of preparing lesson plans.
Course Level Objectives
Learners will:
* Research and describe types of simulators * Describe effects of simulators on psychomotor and cognitive abilities. * Describe best practices in incorporating simulators into the classroom. * Describe techniques for incorporating simulations * Design a lesson plan using simulator or simulation

- Access to the internet to view videos
