Needs Assessment

The needs assessment revealed that educators often lack the necessary knowledge and skills to create and administer effective online assessments in the context of modern education. This gap in expertise leads to inconsistent assessment practices, difficulties in preventing cheating, and challenges in providing timely and constructive feedback to students in online learning environments. Furthermore, educators may not be fully aware of the nuances and best practices for online assessments, which hinders their ability to adapt pedagogical approaches with precision and foster an engaging and tailored educational landscape. As a result, this mini-course aims to address these gaps by providing comprehensive instruction and practical training, empowering educators to harness the potential of online assessment tools for enhanced student learning outcomes while instilling the confidence to navigate the complexities of online education effectively.
