Hello! Thank you for visiting the first page of my wiki! In the following sections of this page, you will find a short introduction about me, my interests, and my professional background.
Le Moyne College
During my undergraduate years, I attended Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. Le Moyne is a small Jesuit Liberal Arts college with exceptional faculty and students. To learn more about Le Moyne, visit the school's website: Le Moyne College
In May 2009, I graduated from Le Moyne with a BA in History and a concentration in Adolescent Education. I also minored in French, although I am still not fluent in the language. My education at Le Moyne and the completion of the teacher education program there allowed me to receive my NYS initial teaching certificate in Adolescent Social Studies, 7-12.
After leaving Le Moyne, I began my graduate studies at SUNY Binghamton, where I was in a PhD-track program in history. I was also a teaching assistant there for history professors. However, after several months I reassessed my career aspirations and decided that a graduate degree in education would better suit my interests and goals. I left Binghamton and started my masters in education at Albany in summer 2010. I will be graduating in December 2010.

When not teaching or working on school work, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I enjoy camping, hiking, biking, and swimming. Some of my favorite places to camp include Moffitt Beach State Park and Moreau Lake State Park, both in the Adirondacks.
