Professional Background

I graduated from Boston University in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education. I hold an Initial Certificate in Mathematics 7-12 in New York, and an Initial License in Mathematics 5-12 in Massachusetts. I am currently studying full-time at the University at Albany. I will graduate in May 2013 with a Master of Science in Educational Theory and Practice with a concentration in Mathematics Education. Currently, I substitute teach and tutor mathematics in the Albany, NY area. Beginning in September 2013, I will be teaching mathematics at Farnsworth Middle School in Guilderland, NY.

Personal Background

I am a native of Albany, NY. My favorite hobby is music; I sing and play the viola. Recently, I portrayed Sister Sophia in Schenectady Light Opera Company's production of The Sound of Music. I am also active in the choir at my church.
