- high academic achievement,
- No prior experience in Chinese.
- very limited capacity to process inputs in target language.

- listening and reading first, then speaking. Writing is the last one.

Goals for Course
At the end of the year, students will meet the ACTFL proficiency guideline as Novice Mid/High.
