“What Do We Do With All That Trash?”

Course Goal:

To learn about and research different methods of recyling and composting, and use digital media to produce a video showing ways that others in our school can reduce their carbon footprint.

Objectives:

Students will:

1. apply existing knowledge about their recycling practices at home

2. understand and identify alternative methods of recycling by practicing composting

3. collaborate in small groups to make a video production, using a Flip video camera

4. demonstrate ways that others can reduce the trash in their school
