I presently hold the position of PreK-6th grade Computer Technology Teacher & Technology Coordinator, part time at St. Rita Catholic School, Webster, N.Y. (since fall, 2011) and am a graduate Student at SUNY Albany, CDIT program, full time (since fall, 2012). I completed my Undergraduate studies at Monroe Community College (2006) and St. John Fisher College, The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education (2009) receiving a B.S. with a dual major in Childhood and Special Education. I currently hold provisional New York State Teacher Certifications in both Childhood Education (grades 1-6) and Students With Disabilities (grades 1-6). I am also a Per Diem Substitute Teacher in four local school districts in the Rochester, NY area.

I grew up in Rochester and am the second oldest of four. After high school, instead of college, I went to work, and for twenty years, I explored many different employment options; mostly in the secretarial/clerical and administrative area. In 2004, I embarked on a journey to fulfill a calling, that up until then, I had all but given up on. I began the journey to become a teacher. Without God, the steadfast support of my husband (married since 2001) and my family, I could not have accomplished this. I am looking forward to the adventures yet to come.
