About Me

Hello Everyone! My name is Brent Vaughan and I am a 25 yr old graduate student. I am enrolled in the Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology program and hope to graduate with my MS at the end of the fall '15 semester.

Me goofing off

A little background information, I grew up in the Capital Region for most of my life. I've had an interest in education since I graduated high school. To pursue my goal, I went to Hudson Valley Community College (to save some money). After two years I graduated and from there I began at The College of Saint Rose. I went for Secondary Education with a concentration in history but mid-semester I found my calling in Elementary Education. After three years, I received my BS in the field. After taking a semester off, I began graduate school here at the University at Albany.

Currently I work in an elementary school as a TA for a self-contained classroom, grades 3-4. It can be crazy at times but it I enjoy it! It is great experience for that one day when I finally get a classroom of my own!
