Unit Overview

In this unit you will be able to create your own sample book using the Book Creator App. You will take what you know about fiction, non-fiction, and the Book Creator App features and create a book on the topic of your choosing. Use the rubric to self-assess what should be in your final product.

Unit Rationale This last unit was designed to bring in an element of project-based learning. Participants will need to take any prior knowledge and new knowledge of the app and put them together to create a sample book in the Book Creator App. By leaving the topic up to participants it brings in an element of "student choice" in order to engage participants in their topic and project. Participants will be able to use their sample book as an exemplar for students and future instruction.
