These e-lecture, discussion, and reflection activities will take place over the next 2 weeks.
Activity #1: How to Create Assignments and Activities
If you chose Khan Academy, your first activity is to create a new assignment specific to your focus students’ learning goals. Think back to the Unit 2 Reflection Activity and view the following Khan Academy article. This article will provide you with a step by step tutorial on how to create and manage assignments.

If you chose Desmos, your first activity is to create a new assignment specific to your focus students’ learning goals. Think back to the Unit 2 Reflection Activity and watch the following video on Desmos. This video will provide you with a step by step tutorial on how to create an activity through the site.

Also, take the time to align your new assignment to the rubric provided. Complete an informal self-assessment on your new assignment for your focus student. While reviewing your assignment keep in mind the questions, did you incorporate all or most of the ideas expressed in the rubric?

Activity #2: Teaching and Recording the Lesson
It is now time to teach your newly created, technology integrated lesson to your student(s). Now that you have evaluated your lesson and have experience with the site, it is time to put it to the test. Record your instruction of the lesson and remember to be aware of your placement on camera, you want to be seen and heard especially with your interactions with your focus student.
Activity #3: Self-reflection and Evaluation
Now that you have taken the time to complete this course, this last activity will serve as an analysis for understanding student learning and the effectiveness of integrating technology. Using your new-found knowledge of integrating technology and your video from activity #2 please complete the following assessment. This rubric will need to be printed out and completed by hand as you review the footage of your lesson.
