Unit 1: What is digital writing and why does it matter?

First and foremost, I just want to say thank you for entering my mini-course. Your very presence here indicates you are interested in improving your planning practices. Your current and/or future students will thank you!
Assuming that there may be a large range of participants taking this course, with diverse teaching backgrounds and dance experiences, in this unit we will begin by reviewing the basics. We will identify why integrating dance into non-dance courses is so important for students. After exploring the benefits of dance in K-12 education, we will set some general and preliminary goals for our own interdisciplinary units that we will develop over this mini-course.
