Dental Assisting education is offered in traditional classrooms. Today, it is possible to present training to prepare the dental assisting to take the national board certifications examinations.

Upon the completion of this mini-course you will be able to:

  • Identify common dental terminology and oral anatomy needed to begin working in a dental office
  • Identify common dental instruments to prepare a room for four different dental procedures
  • Understand the basic regulations for infection control compliance in a dental office


  • Recognize patient dental records and awareness of HIPPA privacy regulations
