Why is this important?

Desktop annotations are one of the most important skills to have when it comes to using SMART Notebook. This skill allows the user to write on websites, word processing files, pictures, etc. For example, if you were reading a passage together as a class from a website, and you wanted to highlight all of the times the word “the” appeared, you could do just that. Let’s take a look at this important skill and be sure that we know how to execute it properly.

OBJECTIVES

At the completion of this unit, learners will be able to:

  • Successfully annotate anything on screen
  • Locate the web browser within SMART Notebook and annotate on any web document
