I am really enjoying the resources you provided in your Flipped Classroom Edmodo site. I like the deep integration of this product with mobile apps. I also think this could have been a better venue for building pedagogically appropriate online courses than the wiki we are trying to use. I can see that this structure that you have created in Edmodo could also be used in any LMS, so I think it has wider appeal than just the Edmodo users. In my course, which is also about a software tool, I created (am creating)instruction and activities for non Blackboard users, because the concepts you and I are using go beyond just the software. Flipping and Badges are trending for good reason, and our tools are just part of that. Maybe you can add something about the applicability of your lessons to a non-Edmodo user?

I see too that you are using learning objects. This is the solution I came up with as well. The KNILT wiki becomes a navigation page for richer resources created that we don't need to recreate. By linking to a variety of existing resources I think we are both providing an opportunity to encourage dialog  with the larger community.

I think you may have not had any reviewers because it required an account and set up - so I am wondering if future faculty learners will bother with the set up. Maybe you can give them an introduction that really catches their attention (Gagne's step 1)so they will make that little bit of extra effort.

Thank you Linda, I appreciate your detailed feedback. I will take into account your suggestions for non-Edmodo users about Flipping. I find the KNILT wiki restrictive and difficult to use for an experiential course. I want my users to understand how to FLIP and have the experience of not just designer but as a student as well. I think using this environment replicates both.

I agree with Lynda's assessment of your course. There are some great links to varied content, and the course organization and navigation is user-friendly. I concur that the challenge will be sending people from the wiki to Edmondo. I'm thinking that including your objectives or short summaries in the wiki would be helpful. Also, is there a way to put them directly on the unit page in Edmondo instead of having them be in downloadable documents?

I definitely can include some of the content directly on the KNILT page, like the objectives and directions. I could make posts with the downloadable, but then I think users may run into issues sorting through posts. I think it's easier and a cleaner design that way. I do agree that it is hard to get learners to jump from Wiki to Edmodo.
