Nice start. I like the engaging tone. That will be great also for the course itself. You have a good start on the needs assessment. You are still behind so keep working. Remember that it is ok to borrow someone else's outline. What are you trying to do with this code Cite error: Invalid <ref>
tag; refs with no name must have content? Do you think you can achieve what you want to in three or four lessons?

Matt,
I think you have a good start to the design project. You picked a very current and interesting topic that you can certainly do a lot with. Your background and purpose looks good... very detailed. I found that the layout itself took a lot of time for me to figure out. I looked at several examples before finally getting mine all set up. Feel free to take mine if it will help you!

Matt,
As I wrote earlier, I still find your background and purpose to be great parts of your design project. They are engaging and interesting, and also a great way to start off the project. Questions to be answered are also nice in that they outline the course, and kind of give the learner a purpose... they know what they will be learning about. Things that I would think about doing include making your task analysis, curriculum map and the units and including them in the main page. This will make everything much more structured.
