Instructor comments on your analysis and objectives -- Jz833665 (talk) 22:10, 23 October 2013 (EDT)

Guangji-

Teaching Chinese with online tools is a nice topic to work on. Your initial instructional analysis and objectives developed are helpful. A few suggestions

  • Clarify and narrow down your target audience.

I think that you can clearly target Chinese instructors at college level (and high school??), so this mini-course will help them to learn how to use online tools and resources to teach Chinese. Accordingly the following objective is not necessary anymore. Students can operate use different computer software to improve their Chinese pronunciation.

  • clarify what types of online resources and tools you will focus on.

There are a lot of resources online. You may classify the resources and then introduce a couple good examples in each category and show how these may be used. For example, there are video resources (quite some resources at Youtube), interactive virtual games (e.g. Zon), and online communities connecting CHinese learners with native speakers, etc.

  • Build your reference list early on.
