Here are a few thoughts to share with you, Kasey. I understand that you might be already working on some of these.

1) Your front page (this page) need more information to orientate the learner: Course objectives, target learner, instruction (why this course, what is it about, etc.) Read the general comments/suggestions I provided (see link in my last class email).

2) Refine the learning path: In your unit 1, you may reflect on and refine the learning path you've created. I think it would be better to start from the learners' interest (e.g., inquiry learning for more effective classrooms) that helps to anchor WISE to a broader context relevant to the learners; then shows how WISE can meet with needs; followed be more specifics of WISE design and application. This is only an example of thinking through the process and envisioning how the learners will engage and deepen their understanding through the progressive steps.

3) Think about analyzing a specific WISE project somewhere to help the learners develop detailed understandings.

4) Better navigation: Right before each hyperlink (and activity) you need to better inform the learners what is there and why to go there, and thereby create a sense of flow through the materials and activities.

I hope these are helpful.

Very very helpful. Thank you so much for the feedback.

Nice enhancement!~

A few more issues you may refine:

(a) your course level objectives in your into page are identical to those listed for your unit 1; You should additionally include what the other units will address.

(b) In your unit 1, Activity A seems too heavy and addresses almost all aspects of inquiry learning. Since it is an introductory activity, I guess you can make it simpler (drop off a few resources and move them to extended references) so that you can highlight more about WISE and enrich Activity B.

(c) whenever you use an external link, remind the learner to come back using the Back button of their browser.

In unit one activity A, one of the links was sending me to a wrong page. It could just be my me but I would just double check each one. I felt that Activity One was very informative but it seemed a bit too long. If there is a way to break it up then it might be a bit better. I really liked how you are using the discussion area to help promote thinking of your questions.
