Anne, you have identified a very interesting topic. Please go ahead. You may want to narrow down to certain issues as you proceed, e.g., how facilitate effective online discourse? How to evaluate student knowledge growth by looking at their conversations, etc. Your needs assessment and instructional analysis in the later part will help you get there.
