What is Communicative Approach?
1. Learning Theory
Activities that involve real communication promote learning. Meaningful activities ->effective learning.

Language is for development of “communicative competence”-> Meaning & function.
3. Teacher & Students’ Role
The teacher is a facilitator and monitor for students’ learning. Students are communicators and active negotiators of meaning.
