Those two pictures got me thinking that ESL education in USA is not considered as much important as in my country, Korea.

"The most reason I choose this topic as my mini plan is that I wanted to highlight the importance of translation and translation method. Also I believe that the translation method can be used as a useful resource in terms of ESL teaching. Although there are many arguments against this method, the translation is definitely the best way to explain the meaning of L2 and it has a meaningful approach when it comes to multicultural classroom. I hope that ESL educators will thoughtfully use this method in their classroom in the future."
