About Me
Academic
- I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in May 2009 with a B.S. in Mathematics and in winter 2010, Siena College awarded me with a certificate to teach secondary mathematics in New York State. Currently, I am working on my Master's in Educational Theory & Practice with a focus on mathematics at SUNY Albany.
Personal
- Originally I am from Long Island, NY. Now I reside in the Capital Region, and teach full-time at Tech Valley High School, located in Rensselaer, NY. TVHS is a public high school, the only difference being that our students come from 39 different districts. This is not a school only for high achievers; the abilities of our students vary just as much as any other school. When I am not planning projects or working on my graduate studies I enjoy hiking, kayaking, holding dinner parties, and hanging out with my dog.
