Academic Background
I graduated from Houghton College with a BM in Music Education in 2011. I then went on to receive an AS in Business Administration from Corning Community College in the following year. This is my semester second at SUNY Albany, pursuing a MS in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology.
Work History
Upon graduating I worked as a long term music substitute for five months. Once that position was no longer available, I went to day-to-day substituting, which I am still doing at present. I had taken a four month break from subbing to work on a temporary project as a Document Clerk at Dresser Rand in Corning, NY during that time. I also teach music lessons at Marich Music in Corning, NY.
Career Goals
In the future I hope to receive a consistent music teaching job in the state of New York. My true passion is instrumental music, though I also love elementary general music. My dream job would be a band instructor at a middle school.
