Learning Objective

Learners will be able to create a Day 1 Guided Reading Lesson by analyzing leveled text.

Through the use of google drive, you will create your own guided reading lesson. Please feel free to use resources from previous lessons to guide you.

Activity

For this activity, you will create your own Day 1 guided reading lesson. You will be provided with a blank lesson plan template and a leveled text. Use your knowledge you have gained from this mini-course as well as resources from previous lessons to complete your Day 1 guided reading lesson.

Directions

To acquire lesson plan template:

1. click on this link of guided reading lesson template: [Blank Guided Reading lesson]

2. Go to Edit, select all, and copy the entire document.

3. Click on this link to create a blank document in Guided Reading:[Guided Reading Folder]

4. Open blank document and paste the template to create your lesson.

To acquire leveled text:

[Level A text]
