Overview and Purpose
Welcome to the exciting world of 3D Printing! This course will provide an overview on the technology of 3D printing, offer case studies on how it is being used and will off an opportunity to look into the future. Students will not only learn about the technology, they will create their own object to be 3D Printed!
Needs Assessment
This course is designed to take someone with no previous experience with Digital Design for 3D Printing and bring them up to speed on the technology.
Performance Objectives
By taking this course, you will learn:
1. How a 3D Printer works 2. Safety and proper operation 3. What a 3D Printer is used for and how it might be used in the future 4. How to create a basic digital design for 3D Printing
