Introduction - About Me
I think I knew I wanted to be a teacher all my life. As a child I remember setting my stuffed animals up at little desks and teaching them the days lesson. Eventually those animals turned into friends and my dreams of being a teacher became my career aspirations. I have been teaching Spanish for 7 years now and love every minute of it. It is my 2nd year in a public school system and though I miss the small cozy feeling private schooling had I am excited each and every day for this new adventure. I am about half way through the CDIT program at the University of Albany and I love how I am growing as a teacher and developing my craft. This program is giving me the tools to put my students and their learning first above all else. I am excited over the potential of who I am to become.
