About Cheryl DePra
I am a graduate student, current higher education professional, former Montessori educator, trained classical pianist, and self-professed languaging fool. My primary areas of interest center on literacy acquisition, early childhood education (particularly Montessori and child-responsive, learner-centric methods), and multicultural & ethnoindigenous learners.
As I pursue my MS in Curriculum Development & Instructional Technology at University at Albany, I find myself dwelling on the manner in which we articulate ideas, the linguistic gestures that endure, evolve, and progress. Language and our embodiment of it is absolutely exhilarating.
