I am a recent graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Adolescent Education, and with a concentration in History. The Fall 2010 semester marks my first semester at the University at Albany as well as my first semester a graduate student. The graduate program I am enrolled in is Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology. As I pursue my Master's degree I will be substitute teaching in the Lansingburgh School District in Troy, New York while also looking for full-time teaching positions. I hold an initial New York State Teacher Certification for Social Studies 7-12, which I am pursuing obtaining a job in this professional area. In my free time I love to experience the outdoors and participate in everything from hiking, camping, and especially fishing (I compete in competitive bass tournaments). Aside from spending time outdoors, I have an amazing family with two sisters, three nieces, and one nephew that all live within ten minutes from me. So needless to say, we are all extremely close.
