Overview

In this lesson we will explore what a flipped classroom is, what techniques and strategies are used in a flipped classroom, and what the benefits of a flipped classroom are.

Objectives

-Given various readings and videos, learners will be able to identify flipped classroom techniques/strategies.

-Given a Prezi Presentation, learners will be able to break down and identify the benefits of using a flipped classroom approach.

-Using piktochart software, learners will create an infographic that details what a flipped classroom is, the benefits of a flipped classroom, and the technologies needed in a flipped classroom.

Now that we have learned all about what a flipped classroom is, what it looks like, the benefits, the limitations, and strategies used, you are going to create an infographic to present the idea of flipped classroom to your principal and/or colleagues. Sign up for a free account on pikochart. Using the software create an infographic that includes what a flipped classroom is, what it looks like, the role of the teacher/students, the benefits, and what technologies are need to flip a classroom. Then, post it to the discussion tab at the top of the page so we can all see it!
