Connections Discussion


Think back to Lesson 2 and the piece of media you chose from your classroom and also think about the political cartoon you were asked to decode... Brainstorm how you think media documents like this are used in your classroom- where would you use them, what units or sections of the classroom are they used? What exams or assignments do you use media like this in (ex. DBQ questions)?

Now think back to your self reflection questions from the last lesson and think about how you may be able to use media literacy education in your classroom... How do you think you could incorporate media literacy education in to your own lesson?
